Bill Penn
Vice President, North Region

Bill Penn is Vice President for the North Region and has been with BG Personnel Services since 1994. Prior to that time, he was an Account Manager for 9 years with a national foodservice distributor. Bill’s roots are in the multi-family industry as he worked many summers and part time jobs for both multi-family industry vendors and on site at apartment properties while earning a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Baylor University in 1984. Bill has been involved in many areas of BG Personnel, helping to start and grow several branches that include on-site staffing as well as a National Executive Search Division that focuses entirely on the multi-family industry.

Over the past decade, Bill has become very involved in the multi-family industry, through associations that include AATC (Ft. Worth), AAGD (Dallas), and AAMD (Denver), AAA (Austin), HAA (Houston) on a local level as well as NAA, TAA (Texas) and CAA (Colorado). He has been on the Board of Directors for AATC for three terms since 2000, has served as a delegate to both TAA and NAA, has chaired committees for the AATC Trade Show, and Products and Services Council, is a PAC Trustee, is serving on the TAA Board of Directors for 2006-2007, and has been on the NAA Product Service Council since 1999. In 2005, he was honored by receiving the “Member of the Year” Award from AATC. Bill has also been a member of the American Staffing Association for many years and has earned the Certified Staffing Professional designation.

Bill enjoys his roles within BG Personnel, the staffing industry and the multi-family industry. Through these roles he sees opportunities to initiate and share ideas as well as mentor others as they grow in their careers. He hopes to be instrumental in activities that develop and improve these industries for many years, perhaps even affecting upcoming generations in a positive way.
